    Deck Organiser on 35-2

:confused:Fiberglass Head Liner??? It never ceases to amaze me the things I learn on this web site. I have been a member since 2001 and it just keeps coming. I have a vinyl headliner which has seen better days to the point that I an going to have to replace it. I was thinking about using a...

    gasoline fuel tank E35-2

Fuel tank removal I took mine out through the lazerett it was pretty easy to do. I did have to cut the plywood bulkhead on the forward end of the locker down to get it out, but other then that it was no problem.

Turning a boat around in the slip

Prop walk turn If the slip is wide enough the turn the boat in then I would use a prop walk turn. Start with the boat at a dead stop in the center of the slip. My boat has a right hand turn prop which will walk my stern to port in reverse so I do the following: Note the engine is at idle...

Found them at Amazon.com 12 cans for $17.00 and because they are used a lot by restaurants the Costco Business centers carry them.

    New Teak Floor

Spencer, I (Tom P.) used the Silicon Bronze fasteners to reinstall my existing Teak & Holly plywood deck which I had taken up in hopes of being able to replace the underfloor water tank. Tom C. is the one with the 3/4" Teak.

    What's this thing for?

Looks like part of a preventer, the part you have hooks onto the boom. The metal pieces fit in the sail track the block hangs below the boom. The other part block and the tackle, the part that is missing is attached to the toe rail when sailing down wind to prevent an accidental jibe.

Aluminum Fuel tank manufacturer on West Coast

Coastline made my new tank for me about 4 years ago and it was a work of art. I am very pleased with their work. I sent them the measurements and about two weeks later my new tank arrived.

    Reverse Polarity Challenge

I think you need to take the tester back it appears to be faulty.

    Reverse Polarity Challenge

I appears from your posts that plug that you have tested with your tester has an open ground. I would strongly suggest if you haven't already that you test your tester on a known good ckt. before doing anything else.

    Fuel Polishing ASAP

I agree with your mechanic. When I did the cleaning of my tank I started with 30 microns because I was bypassing the secondary filter, which on my engine is located between the OEM lift pump and the injection pump, and wanted high flow to stir things up. Then I went down to a 10 micron filter...

    Fuel Polishing ASAP

Mark, Two years after I put the system in I added a tee and between P3 and V1 and installed a defueling line to the tee with an additional valve V3. I have a diesel pickup so in the spring I pump the fuel out into jerry cans and put into my truck. Because my Yanmar is old enough for...

    Fuel Polishing ASAP

Rod, The electric pump was added as a booster for the Yanmar lift pump when that didn't solve my fuel starvation problem I added the polishing provisions. The regional Yanmar distributor had recommended I install a booster pump one because the OEM lift pumps for Yanmar 3GM30's are only rated...

    Fuel Polishing ASAP

Mark, You might want to check the fittings where the fuel pickup tube exits the tank. Since our boats could be had with a gas or diesel engine on some boats Ericson installed a spring loaded ball check valve at that location. Its purpose was to keep the fuel on the gas models from being...
