WIndlass not working....

Solenoid makes clicking sound when using control switch but windlass does not move. Is this a solenoid issue? If so, is there a replacement for a "Quick T503" Solenoid?

Thanks,

Found with a google search, among other sources and vendors. I have no idea if the $$ are appropriate, though.

Is it possible that the battery is dead, so the solenoid makes a clicking sound like dead car battery? Is there any sound from the motor possibly indicating a stuck chain?
Just thinking...

I don't have a windlass and am not familiar with them, so others may be more helpful. But in the meantime I would check and clean all the electrical connections, as it still sounds to me like what a car does when you try to start it with a dead battery. If yours are fully charged, maybe the windlass is not getting that current due to a poor or corroded connection.
Good luck, and let us know what you find.
