Running Wires in a E 34 Kenyon Mast

Greetings,

I am about to install a wind machine on the mast head of my '88 E34 equipped with a Kenyon mast. I currently have the wires for the masthead light, steaming light, VHF & TV antenna cable running down the mast. I know the area behind the sail track contains these wires in some sort of pocket or tube, but I have no idea how big it is. The Kenyon sectional view doesn't really show it. Anyone have any idea on my ability to get another wire down the mast and how best to do it without removing the mast?

My impression is that there is a fair amount of room because when I had my mast repainted a few years ago, the yard replaced all the wiring (including the cable for the anenometer) and put it behind the sail track. Of course, the mast was down and the track could be removed easliy. Doing it while the mast is up would seem to much more difficult. Have you considered the wireless TackTick?
