Stumped - Water in bilge

This sounds very familiar! Glad it's working well.

I'm happy to say that no water leaks through my rudder post since I had it fixed 2 1/2 years ago.

But there are still so many other projects....

How much did the yard charge you for the rudder work? I may need to have mine shimmed as well. Two years ago I had the steering quadrant refurbished. They were also supposed to shim the rudder but I don't think they did as it still has a lot of play. Either that or they did shim it and now it is worn again, but it seems like it should have lasted more than two years.

The haul-out was free because they were having a special on bottom painting, which I took advantage of.

Included in this price, they also opened the rudder core and dried it out for a week, and sealed it with epoxy.
