Oily bilge

I spent a whole day for a survey. I found some water leaks on starboard side where a drain from cockpit, the life line stay is moving and unscrewed. 6977427A-034F-4798-BECC-9A4B41269920.jpeg7E9FD634-43B1-4072-9ADB-EC73E1D9A032.jpeg410BF3A0-CBA8-4F5B-8D83-7564E76DB338.jpeg
The shaft place is wet and rusty. 85ABEA5E-4F7F-4287-BB5D-57527220711E.jpeg
One hole line in the deck corner.

In the back store was two gasoline canisters that can leak.

The bow has leaks - it’s true. I pumped water and made dry little bit. Today will be rain and will check the level tomorrow.

The top part of the bow inside has some black spots and peeled off paint maybe. What is it?

Makar, I think you need an experienced sailboat owner to go over this boat with you--or even hire a surveyor and consider it tuition.

I agree...find a E27 owner, take him/her to lunch...get an opinion plus a surveyor. Looks like you bit the hook on this one...but let your head rule your heart....unless you have an unlimited pocket book and lots of extra time on your hands...dont jump until you are sure there is water below! Like said above..beauty is only skin deep, but it's what is in the inside that counts......

After three days of rain, I found that leaks in the bow from the pulpit screws. The bilge was at the same level after they pumped. I think, originally water came from the life line stay and the cockpit drain hole.
I put white napkins under transmission and engine. In result, only one oil drop in two days after the sea trial and idle run. I assume, the oil in the bilge can be from the old engine. They changed it in 2013 and maybe didn’t clean the deep bilge.
Next weekend I will check the bottom. Thank you!
