sheave

I believe that my halyards have jumped the sheaves. I was trying to change jibs and it got stuck halfway down. I convinced the admiral to go up the mast (she was NOT too pleased) to take a look at it. She did not go all of the way up, but was within arms reach. I know that the sheaves are 2 sets...

For main halyard. Diameter of sheave is 2.75" and pin is 3/8. I've scoured the web, called places I know about, but can't find that size. I'm hoping to find one with ball or needle bearings instead of just bronze insert. Any clues where to look?

Has anyone replaced a rope/wire halyard with all rope? If so, do you know if the stock sheave at the mast head will accomodate the 3/8" line?

My 71 e-32 has tiller & wheel steering. The strbrd side sheave support has broken. It is a 1/4" 6 x 10 " piece of steel that was bonded to the hull. Before it broke there was a lot of flex. My plan is to go in thru the strbrd lazzeret, cut a access hole , and then epoxy some plywood to the hull...

I have an 1979 Ericson 29. The mast head sheave's (4), between 3 plates had a plate with some backing coming off. I re-glued the backing, and now the unit is two wide to easily fit back in the mast-head. The sheave's do not turn because of this. Question: 1. Where can I get...
