In need of a new masthead sheave

For main halyard. Diameter of sheave is 2.75" and pin is 3/8. I've scoured the web, called places I know about, but can't find that size. I'm hoping to find one with ball or needle bearings instead of just bronze insert. Any clues where to look?

Has anyone replaced a rope/wire halyard with all rope? If so, do you know if the stock sheave at the mast head will accomodate the 3/8" line?

My plan is to go in thru the strbrd lazzeret, cut a access hole , and then epoxy some plywood to the hull...
