It isn't a very good shot of her, she looked much better close up on port tack just south of Malibu Beach. I don't know if she's a 32 or a 35 but she sure was pretty as she played among occasional white caps. -Sven

Memorial day is coming up ! We assume that Catalina Island (Isthmus harbor etc.) will be swamped with boaters. So, we're thinking that Santa Barbara Island might be an interesting alternative ? We've been there on quite a few dive trips on the Great Escape <http://www.diveboat.com>...

Our new (old), 1975 Ericson 23 is in MDR. We saw a notice about the Christmas Parade being on 12-13. We've never been to the parade and just a quick glance at the pictures of prior entries make it clear that just stringing some lights on the boat won't cut it. Since we won't be participants...
