I am unable to complete my project. The boat is in great shape. I still need to replace the compression post and main salon wall/bulkhead. The boat is very close to being done and for someone that does this and has time, could be ready to sail fast. The boat can be sailed now. The sails are in...
I have attached a photo of an Ericson 27 Mast. Found it on this site. If you notice the boom is about a foot higher than the cleat near the bottom of the mast which has a yellowish rusty colored rope tied to it. The boom is located just above the winch on the Port side of the mast. I assume...
I recently replaced the impeller. The pump is in like new condition. The only problem is that now I have drips coming in through the little rectangular gap in the pump where grease is visible. Did I miss some type of plug or does it simply need more grease forced through the cap? Only leaks when...

Lets start with the Blower since I need that working first in order to crank the engine.
From the switch to...
If I get rid of it I will let you know. Right now I think that due to the great condition it is in and the fact that this boat has been on fresh water its whole life, I am going to run it until it goes. I am cranking it up tomorrow. Hasn't been cranked in months supposedly.
Well it's good to hear that none of you experienced exploding boats and family members dying from gas fumes while sleeping.
All kinds of of negative stuff out there and fear and loathing..
