Hello all, I have replaced my riser with the yanmar elbow, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to secure the hose clamps on the exhaust hose that attach to the pipe under the lazarette. Ericson seems to have made this connection before any of the other wires and hoses were installed...

I forgot to mention I had to drill holes in deck under the Ubolt plates to remove the rods. I used epoxy to refill andcovered with the plates. My headliner is still in bad shape and I'm hopeful to get some teak blocks made to cover the slices I made to remove the backing plates.

Yeah you would think Hes admitting to having to replace the cover but still arguing about the sail length. So insane!

Snuck my iPhone in for a snapshot. The bottome of rod goes down around this teak in the cabinet. smashed finger and a fistful of bloody knuckles and only 1/8th of the Ubolts removed

I got one out intact. The backing plate is free. But I can't get the rod out without cutting the teak and making a mess. Is just replacing the U bolts enough? Or do I need to pull the plates out too?

Every Boatyard I talk to about painting the decks on My E34 wants to grind the whole waffle pattern off and start from scratch with a sand infused non skid. This seams insane too me! They say the paint won't bond because they can't sand the pattern well enough to prime it.

Thanks guys so what about the flat plate? How'd you get that off the deck? I heard they are bonded to the glass with 5200?
