Found both a previous thread on here and the PHRF of 198.

Interesting boats, my wife will not be happy if I take on another project. The boat was last licensed in 1995 in Oregon.
The current...
E32 Stern
Hatches look like they are gone. The ass end looks great. I love the heart shaped stern.
Very attracted to that in both boats and women. I am married, so I have one of the two
covered. Been awhile since I have been on here.

Yesterday I came across this Ericson in my backyard.
I haven't found any resources on the early E32 on this site.
Are there any??
I really like the lines. Any one know the PHRF rating?
The stern is beautiful and a tailorable 32 a real bonus.
Thank you,
KJ
I have a 1976 E27 with a broken throttle lever. When I went to start it up and adjust the throttle the lever was seized. To make matters worse, the (what looks like brass) throttle shaft that is in the center of the gear lever is now sheared off. I looked through some old threads and didn't...
Counter top
Thank you!
The corian type counter top is backed with 3/4 marine plywood only over the campionway. I used an adhesive to secure the counter top both to the plywood and to the fiberglass where the previous formica was. I didn't worry about the uneven fiberglass surface that I...
Counter top in my E27
Here is a link to a previous thread I started a few years back.
My counter top project was one of the best improvements I made on my boat below deck.

Turtle cover for your hatch
Below is a pretty good link that describes a turtle cover for hatches (pg. 8 of the link below). I have taken on alot of water before on my E27 via the hatch as well. The site suggests finding some one good with glass work and commissioning the work...
Just became a BMW owner and came across this. Since one of the two boats was in my home state, I thought others maybe interested. I believe these are 40 meters long. Must do 10 knots or so at anchor. :)

Table
By 1976, my E27 no longer had the 3 inch middle part and the other half of the table folded on top of the other half for stowage. One less hinge and two instead of three parts.

Machice a base.
Could you have base machined to fit to create at tight fit? Just a thought. If they are no longer available to fit the curve base where it is mounted, it maybe your only reasonable choice.
On my custom portholes on my E27 over the main cabin I used large O-rings to create...
Pretty
She is a pretty boat. I had to load the craiglist site a second time to load all of four of the pics from them, only two of the four pics loaded the first time around. The stern is pretty cool. I wish I was in the market place but it will be awhile.

Batteries for an A4 aboard a E27
Before the season starts, I will be in the battery market as well and I may follow your lead. So, let us know what is the best route to go you all.
Thank you,

Colored Silicone
Oops, I used a colored (brown) silicone to seal my seams last summer. Looked good but I don't know if it will last. Well, at least I know what to use next time around. My pre-EY.o days.
