I have a 71 E 29. Between the gelcoat and fiberglass there is a black coating. As the gelcoat has been wearing thinner, this black coating is more pronounced. It looks like the mold was sprayed with gelcoat, this black coating sprayed on, then the glass work was started. I've sat and thought about painting her but then I run out of beverages and go back home!!!
