Has anyone had any ocean worthy top hatches fabricated?
Any recommendations?
Also, can you recommend a shop in the New York/New England area?

Are you talking about wooden hatches as opposed to aluminum like Lewmars? If so, you might try one of the Brewers yards. I know the one in Mamaroneck (NY) does boat cabinetry (and has its own wood working store). If you are talking aluminum, try www.selectplastics.com, which specializes in hatch repair/refurbishment.
