starter replacement

Well after getting the old one rebuilt twice in 1 year, me thinks it is time to replace with new as they just do not seem to work.
Being in Nicaragua I am wondering if there is a auto type starter that would work on my "88 Universal 25? Lots of Toyota and other kind of import down here. Thanks, Ralph

Well, it is a Kubota tractor engine. I am not sure if the starter is marinized or not. This is their distributor in Nicaragua:

I'm willing to bet that Universal "marinized" that starter with a nice coat of gold paint.....

The Kubota dealer will want to know that the M-25xp is a Kubota D-950 block.

BTW, the block is different than the M-25, so you must specify the "XP" in the model designation.
