Martin is absolutely correct - in Yanmar 2GM fuel pump is cam driven and as far as I can tell the diaphragm itself is not available - only assembled pump; I appreciate your concern - new pump is $90 new diaphragm is probably close to $4.
What I am wondering though if the incorrect primary filter by the tank (to restrictive perhaps) had strained the pump to the point of failure ...

FWIW, I replaced a leaking fuel pump on my son's 2GM20F and the replacement pump leaked also after a few days of powering on a delivery from Lake Ontario to the Chesapeake. The third pump was the charm.

IIRC, I was told to not tighten the screws holding the pump together because it could damage the diaphragm. Just something that sticks in my mind, low reliability.
