After years of bleaching and scrubbing and replacing slides...I picked up some 1/4 inch stainless tube and 1 1/2 inch stainless strap eye. I drilled a 1/4 inch hole 1/4 inch deep in the wood above the shower liner on the center line side of the shower stall. On the opposite side I used the strap eye to fasten the tube to the highest point that would still allow a shower curtain to slide back and forth. There is a piece of trim in this area that stops the tube from moving horizontally. This allowed use of a standard shower curtain and is actually mounted higher then the original aluminum track. $10 fix. I will be at the boat this afternoon and I'll try to take a pic.
