Replacing a gimbaled Kenyon 209 w/ Cookmate

I'm looking to replace my old and non-functional gimbaled Kenyon with a new non-pressurized Cookmate 4200.

From what I can tell from the measurements, I sounds like the recessed cookmate will drop right in to the gimbal that was used for the 209.

But I'd like to be sure before I bought it.

Is it going to fit? Has anyone done this?

Thanks!

Looks like a Chinese knock-off of the Origo 3000 series.
Lots of web chatter if you Google the stove model.
Since it's been openly advertised for a couple of years now, I presume the design was licensed from the patent holder.
Here is just one thread:

Only caveat I can think of is that while the design may be the same, the ss alloy may not...

If you search this site you will find a lot of praise for the Origo stoves in general.

From all that I've read the Cookmate and Origo are very, very similar if not exactly the same. People have raved about the quality. And the price difference is substantial: $250 vs. $390.

But that wasn't my question.

From the measurements and the product specs, I'm 95% sure that the Cookmate will fit into the existing gimbal for my 309. It would just be nice to know if someone else had done it, so I could be 100% sure before I buy anything.
