Propane Locker

Does anyone else have a propane locker and tank like this? The propane bottle won’t fit in the box because the regulator pushes against the starboard side of the tank and you can’t push it back far enough to put the lid back on the locker. Picture three is what I’m using now but I would really like to use the bigger bottle.
