Proper prop pitch for your E31.
Mark, Yep, you'll need a 13 X 12 1/2 RH 3 blade assuming that you have a Kanzaki KM3P with 2.61 to 1 reduction. That will give you 3,650 to 3,700 maximum RPM, good for one hour before overheating and a sustained 3,400 RPM that will push the boat through flat water in no wind at over 6.5 knots. The numbers above are guaranteed and are on several of our E31's including ours where all the trial and error was done (three pitch iterations before I got it on the nose). Cheers, Glyn
