I thought I'd share a winter/spring project that I finally took the time to get a good photo. The old coaming box was a plastic store bought replacement installed by the PO with good intentions and a lot of sealant. It had become cracked, leaking and falling off - a big mess. I looked around but couldn't find any good off-the-shelf solution so undertook the project to make a custom replacement. The new box looks great, drains completely through the existing drain holes, is well secured and holds stuff well while underway. It was time consuming, but a good way to fill time over the winter months and well worth the effort. The frame was existing and now is in need of refinishing. Added to the list...
