Update - Aug 2016
Y321-0110 Part Number ...
I hunted high and low for this part all summer. My part has been re-glued with epoxy several times - I don't trust it any more.
The last time it broke (fortunately, as I was slowing coming into my slip), it fell apart into about 4 pieces when I unassembled it - no point in re-gluing it.
I tried all the links and contacts in this thread without success.
I looked into get it 3D-printed but couldn't find anyone to make the 3-D .STL file that's needed (plus, I was told the available thermoplastics might not yield a physically stable replica of this part).
A local metal fabricator (
http://www.axisfab.com) said it would cost >$500 just in computer time to create a CAD file that a cutter could use to make it out of a block of aluminum - they said it would be cheaper to have it made from thick ss sheet metal - $1700 was their quote.
At my wit's end, I did one last web search and found this:
http://shop.sailboatowners.com/prod.php?54883
... $270 for the perfect part !!! There were 2 left in stock when I ordered (I bet they just get a couple made at a time so as not to have a large inventory)
The part arrived within 4 days of ordering, and was installed a day later - perfect fit!
Good luck!
