Lazarrete seal/bumper/cushion

dumb question alert. I noticed the starboard and aft lazarette hatches do not have a cushion, bumpers, or seals (not sure what the correct term is) which is causing them to ware the edge of the hatch and mating surface. The aft one is getting really bad and I will probably need to fill in the gauge with some epoxy. Probably an easy fix, but I was hoping to hear from other owners on what they've used to cushion or seal the hatches.

If you are talking about the seal around the top under the lid, I have used high quality door seals.
