Don't see a way to delete posts. Thanks to everyone who expressed interest in our boat. It now has a new owner.

1973 Ericson 35-2 No. 288 located in Long Beach, CA.

* Wheel steering (also has tiller and tiller head assembly)
* Navico autopilot
* Atomic Four auxiliary
* Pressure water system
* Water heater
* Dual water tanks
* Marine head and holding tank
* Cockpit cushions
* Sunbrella awning
* Sunbrella dodger
* Sunbrella covers for the steering pedestal, winches, handrails, hatches and cockpit coamings
* Eight winches
* VHF Radio
* Shore power
* New batteries 12/1
* Battery charger
* AC Refrigerator
* Spinnaker pole
* Main & jib
* Misc. gear: ground tackle, BBQ, boat hook, life jackets, fire extinguishers, etc.

The best word to describe this Ericson is “original.” The boat has not been hacked up or had any dubious “improvements.” No known major structural problems. The deck is rock solid and there is no indication of delamination or water intrusion around chainplates or hardware. Windows are leak-free. Original gelcoat is in good condition. The non-skid is in nice shape with the only sign of any wear being on the cockpit floor. Atomic Four looks rough but runs well. There was a starter/solenoid issue this week (12/1) and Lewco in Newport Beach rebuilt it. Tune-up scheduled for 12/9. Interior is in good condition. Electrical and plumbing systems functional. Bottom cleaned every other week and the diver reports the paint is good for another 6 months or so. CG documented vessel with clear title.

Known issues:
* Main cabin center hatch needs (cracked) plexiglass replaced
* Carburetor choke cable needs replacing
* There is some cracking around the three bilge access holes in the main cabin floor pan.

This is our fourth Ericson and we are selling only because it is a lot more boat then we need.

PRICE: Looking for offers around $10,000.

Hi Richard,

The boat is in Shoreline Marina, downtown Long Beach. Slip fees are $9.90/ft. per month for boats 29'-39'. Slips in LB municipal marinas don't transfer with ownership change. In other words, the new owner has to get on the waiting list. That said, it only took us a few months to get a 35' slip here. There are slips immediately available about 10-20 minutes from here in Wilmington and San Pedro and they are generally less expensive.

Wifi? There are two providers in Shoreline. I am using iDock and it works pretty well. In fact, I posted the ad and this response while sitting in the cockpit. :egrin:
