Hello, Skywalker - is Endeavour still available for sale? You can reach me at wmfk@aol.com if she is. I'm looking for an E38 or E380 and Endeavour looks pretty. I wonder if you ever fixed the sole puddling at the base of the mast? Thanks!

The water drains down the mast and into the bilge where it gets pumped out. When I had the sole redone a groove was cut into the 2 halves that circle the base and now the water drains straight in. I also epoxied the bottom of those 2 halves.

He has not checked in since Oct. 2022. Best use the site messaging scheme. Just click on his site name, click on Start Conversation, and send a message. Given that his former boat was an '88, it may have had the same Lewmar opening ports as our boat. A friend of mine installed all new rubber seals on his (same) ports in an '86 E-38. Lot of work, it was. I chose to replace all of ours in 2021 with new ones. I believe that they are much improved in design. Of course, YMMV.
Lots of opening-port threads on this site, some searching will net you a ton of relevant reading and solutions to ponder. There are some pix of our new ones in place in my blog, FWIW.
Happy holidays,
Loren
