E38 backstay adjuster

Hi, wondering if anyone has installed a Sailtec hydraulic backstay adjuster on their E38 and if so which model did you go with?

Backstay adjuster

So, David, did you end up installing the backstay adjuster? A couple folks have suggested that I install an adjustable backstay on the E38 we just purchased, so I thought I'd check to see if you ended up adding one, AND to ask what was involved?

E38 back stay adjuster

I installed a Navtec back stay adjuster with about a 14 inch stroke about 12 years ago on my E38. It still works perfectly. It is great for tuning the rigging when racing but also makes a huge difference when pulling and stepping the mast.
