I have a guy currently building me a dodger...he put up the frame this week and asked me to stop by the boat this wkd to have a look and see if the height etc...met my requirements. I am looking for input with respect to the proper height for a dodger on an e27 or any boat for that matter. The top of the frame is currently about 8 inches below the bottom of the boom when attached to the topping lift. It is 66 inches from the cockpit floor or about eye level for me ...in fact it is right at eye level so maybe that should be a consideration. My gut tells me to drop it a couple of inches but would like some input from others.
