I was sailing around the Channel Islands the weekend following this catastrophe. Our stop in Santa Barbara and a walk through the memorial was one of the sadist things I have experienced. So many vibrant and adventuress lives lost. The photos and hand made memorials broke my heart.

Tragedy that could have been avoided by having a night watchman/proper crew training IMHO. RIP.
