I'm wondering if others have had this problem and what the solution was. My 1988 Autohelm is not responding to commands. Pushing the AUTO button enagages the LINEAR DRIVE but the drive will not respond to course changes. Pushing the +10 or -10 button has no effect. If the boat sails more than 10 degrees off course the alarm sounds as it should, but the LINEAR DRIVE does not move the rudder. All the buttons BEEP as they should when pushed.
The unit has worked flawlessly until now and the last time out (September) it was working fine.
Any suggestions would be helpful, or if you can point me in the proper direction to get fixed that would be great too!
