They were found safe and sound. It seems they had not renewed a subscription to their communications provider. When a person at home renewed it they were able to contact them. C.G. currently waiting for them to make landfall so they can question them and conclude the investigation. Or so I read on Facebook. FWIW

I read this on "Cruisers Forum".
“The Coast Guard ended a three-day search Monday after the 40-foot
boat, Dove, was located safe and sound, nearly 100 miles off the New Jersey coast.
Petty Officer Nicole Groll, a spokeswoman, says a family member renewed a subscription for a GPS interactive messaging device, allowing the Coast Guard to pinpoint the boat’s location and message the crew as the vessel traveled to Florida.”

Did anyone hear what the initial problem was that prompted the boat to send an SOS?
