the port steel aft cockpit deck steel support is almost rusted thru. i would like to replace it. the top L is screwed to the deck, but where it meets the hull its just a mass of rust and has fiberglass fabric over it. there is only about 1/8 " of the bar left.
has anybody replaced one and how is it connected to the hull ?
