32-2 in San Diego Bay

I visited this vessel yesterday. The gel coat on the topside is surprisingly nice. Dry bilge. The rest of the vessel could be something a hobby minded person might consider.

Doesn't look terrible from the pictures, especially for the price. It would be interesting to see if the engine install is done right. Might be a deal for someone.

Oh it's a great deal...of work. If the rigging was less unattended, the chain plates eternally uncaulked and the resulting minor wood damage, enough salt on interior fittings near the stepped mast to make a decent Margherita, missing v birth door, extras best fitted for the nearest dumpster, then I would have scooped her up. The sale of the vessel is motivated by the girlfriend.... which makes her a keeper.

Well, there you have it! You saw it in person. Boats typically (always?) look better in pictures than in real life.

The motor does come with the vessel..or is it the other way round? I think the "about to" part is the dusty remains of his dreams....
