All,
Was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to the original positioning of the topping lift and outhaul on an 85 Ericsson 30+ ?
Currently, the topping lift exits the boom closer to the mast and cleats on the boom. this is the case with the outhaul as well. Seems like a much better solution would to have the topping lift exit the end and maybe the outhaul come back to the cockpit.
Seems overall safer. Currently, I have no reason to be on the deck when raising the mast except to slack the topping lift.
