This was not too far from us on the Hudson. For the second year in a row, the clubhouse at our working yacht club had standing water about 3 feet deep on first floor. Many, many boats off their stands and some may be holed.

Does anyone have experience with New Found Metals opening ports?

Just bought a new rigid vang for my E 28...the manufacturer thought they had the specs for the mast and boom where custom brackets need to be attached...they do not...but they do have measurements for the E 27 and E 29...anyone know if width was same on stock spars?

What size is your engine? Using the standard 2 hp for every thousand pounds of displacement, the E 28 is underpowered by 5 hp. Prop is correct size and pitch...just cannot handle the 3 k current we have on the Hudson...finally changing out this winter

I have an E 28 with a folding Martec prop...it may be fine for racing, but it is a nightmare for driving under power. Given the standard Universal engine in the E 28-the M -12--is way underpowered at 10hp, adding a folding prop is double jeopardy. Hard to make way in a strong current and...

My TackTick on my E 28 is off by quite a bit...have even had it professionally reset and it is still off on wind direction by several degrees.

What do you recommend for engine room insulation?

The idea of using an IPad for wind etc is very promising...what can we do NOW with the IPad on a mount?

Have trucked a couple of boats about 500 miles...about $1,000...here in New England there are several very good boat transport companies...sure the same is true on the left coast...
