Adding an entry here to include some photos of the Rod Rigging replacement for my Ericson 33RH started today. This is a big "turbo" fractional rig (300 sq ft main) with a flexible mast that can be bent using the backstay to tune the shape of the sail.
Below the mast is lifted out of the hull with the crain. The mast looks much bigger when it is laying on it's side. Next step is the mast it going to be broken down and all parts disassmbled. At this time, any problems will be discovered...
