I went to the Marina this morning and was part of the crowd that Welcomed Zac back. What a great experience. About twenty five boats went out to meet him when he was about a mile out and then accompanied him into the Marina. The procession was led by a couple of County fireboats with their cannons shooting water in the air. Zac sailed by Fisherman's Village in order to make the trip official and then dropped his sails and motored into a slip just below where we were standing. He was clean shaven and looked hale. His family and probably three hundred people were there. After a number of sponsors were introduced and spoke, Zac took the podium and talked about his experience and encouraged other teens to challenge themselves. He is certainly a remarkable young man.

Good for you Bill, Glad to hear you made it out there. I really wanted to go but I was shackled to a desk. I guess the news now is that his 15 year old Sister's gonna try to beat Zac's record for youngest next year.
