I have a YSB 8 that I removed for re-engine one year ago. It has been sitting around the garage since then. The engine was running but needs to be overhauled or used for parts. The cylinder and/ or piston rings or all three are worn and oil gets by the rings into the cumbustion chamber. It runs low on oil after about 6 hours of high RPM motoring. The water pump is one season old and purchased new from Yanmar. The engine comes with a starter which needs solenoid repaired (it sticks), alternator, and the transmission. I have a one season old starter also purchased new from Yanmar to sell separate. Engine is located in the Annapolis area and must be picked up. $ 300.00 plus any packing and shipping. tonysantos@att.net
