Water pump grease?

What type of grease should I use for the little grease cap/holder on the Oberdorfer? I am going to clean out the old and put new in.

Some years back I got some for my old Atomic 4 from Featherman Enterprises/Moyer Marine. What they sent was marine trailer axle grease. I recently went to Walmart & bought refill cartridges, 3 for $2.79. Make sure it is the marine stuff so you don't get a lithium based grease which will corrode in the marine environment.

To reiterate on what Keith said. Just make sure it says "marine" grade grease. You should be fine.
