wanted to borrow: Datamarine masthead wind instrument

I had all my in-mast wiring replaced this spring, and subsequently my Datamarine wind speed and direction instrument does not work. The yard claims that my masthead transducer is at fault. Before I decide whether to overhaul my old transducer or purchase a new one, I would like to borrow someone else's functional transducer to make sure that the wiring was done correctly and that I am chasing the right problem. I asked the yard to assist with this, but they were not helpful.

I kinda sorta remember that the DM wind instrument had a little junction box up under my headliner where the cabling came of the spar. If any those connections were mis-married, it would not very likely work...

It has been a few years since I removed that instrument, and I sent it down to Glyn J. in MDR, CA.
Perhaps he can check in with some wiring info.
