Looking at moving up from an E-32-3. What I really want is for Christian to finish Thelonious II and sell it to me before he goes off adventuring. (He did say he loves working on these boats.)

I know - we all want E-38s. :egrin:

I had a look at the one up in Anacortes and was intrigued (Still am) but I thought I would chuck a general "ask" out there since it is wintertime.

For those who remember, I thought the 32 was going to be too big.

Feel free to mock me, I kind of like it.

Several summers ago I got to help deliver an E-32-3 down the coast to Astoria. About the same displacement as our boat, but with a softer ride is steep seas. Comfortable trip.
The comment about boat size and how much might be "too big" is right on. I still recall when I first motored our 34 footer out of the slings here in PDX, and looking forward I thought I was sighting down the deck of an aircraft carrier! (Prior boat for a decade was 26 feet long.).

That was in the fall of '94, and I got used to it in a year or so....
and have since done a delivery on an E-38. Nice ride (!) indeed.
:egrin:
