Looking for a clean (non-project) Ericson in the 28-30 ft. range. Plan to keep it in the Chesapeake Bay area. Your 1st email should be an accurate, detailed description of the boat. ADShriv@Verizon.net

Have you contacted the owners of these Ericsons, listed in this forum? I note that there are some on the East coast, and trucking costs would be reasonable to bring it home...

Happy Hunting! Both are great boats-with my nod going to the 30/30+. The 28 is a 30 with the back end chopped off (basically), and as such is not quite as well balanced. It is also a bit more tender, but if you find a great deal you will be very happy-The 28's are a bit more demanding in terms of weight placement and mainsail design (you really need a flat main). The 30's are simply better all around performers (especially in breezy conditions), but again both are great.

Best of luck and feel free to use and abuse us in your search!

Good times,
Seth
