At least the real canines didn't lie. They are better looking to. Did the rescuers detect them by radar or by nose from downwind? Which one had the do do duty?
As for the storm think Joe Btfsplk from the Lil Abner cartoon strip. Always had a thunderhead, above him and lightning strikes around him.
