Tool for Homestrand/Kenyon stove?

We have an ancient Homestrand/Kenyon model 206 alcohol stove in our 1971 E29 (#129) on Lake Superior. We have been very happy with it. It works great, but needs a new check valve. This valve sits at the bottom of the fuel inlet cyclinder, and requires a special wrench to get it out. The replacement valve is only ~$12 from Kenyon, but they want $25 for the tool!!! Does anyone have that tool I could borrow or purchase (if you have replaced your Homestrand stove).

I Have This Tool..

Joe,

I own this tool. Let me see where it is and I would be willing to sell or trade it for other interesting parts. I also have a E29. You can reach me through email at sailshigh@cox.net.

Do you have a well-stocked garage? I made my own from a length of steel bar and some dremel work on the end. It really isn't too hard to do, if you're a do-it-yourself kind of guy.

Boy, is that a loaded question... I don't know anyone who owns a boat who's garage (and basement and spare bedroom) is not 'well stocked'... :p
