I had been following the progress of this guy for some time. He built much of his vessel at the Loch Lomond Marina, where I had my E27 a few years back. He's had all sorts of trouble with this project (including a physical altercation with the marina owner), but apparently his dream (at least on this boat) ended today after it took on water and he and his crew needed rescue.
