SSS Three Bridge Fiasco

I am happy to report that after not racing much in the last few years do to an injury, Sail a Vie was back on the course Saturday. We did the Single Handed Sailing Society’s Three Bridge Fiasco. This was the biggest race on the West Coast with 369 entries.

We did it double handed with crew that I had never met before accept on face book. He sails in the Puget Sound area. He flew down Friday night to race on a boat he had never seen before.

We got first in division out of 23 starters and 16th overall out of 324 starters. I guess it’s like riding a bike!

This will most likely be the last “big” race for Sail a Vie as I have purchased a Mini Transat 6.50

I will keep Sail a Vie but she will be more of a cruiser now.

Cheers

three bridge

Phil you rock. We kept the boat moving just not fast enough. We still had a good time.
If you need crew give me a call. I'm not racing my boat this year.
