I was looking at the Panama Canal Gatun Locks this morning. Zac Sunderland, one of 3-4 young people trying to set new "youngest circumnavigator" records was supposed to enter the locks later today.
While I'm looking I see an old friend from last summer ! I can't be absolutely certain, but I'd bet it was Ever Safety which we met last summer when crossing back from Catalina. Nancy's pictures of the Evergreen Ever Safety are down below. She was large and fast container ship from the perspective of our La Petite
Later this PM I did get to see Zac too or at least what should have been his 36' Islander lashed to a larger catamaran during the transit.
