Sink Faucets

Aloha,
OK, here is a silly question. Water flows from the electric pump in the galley sink, but the hand pump in the sink and in the head don't work. What am I doing wrong? Do you pump them? How do I get them going?

The seals of hand pumps often dry up to the extent that they won't prime any more. Try coaxing a half cup or so of water DOWN them first and see if that gets them going. (You may have to disassemble them a bit to get to the point at which you can do this.)

If not, you have to take 'em apart and figure out what the problem is. They aren't very complicated, and rebuild kits are readily available from West/Defender/etc.
