Sailing in San Diego

My wife and I are planning a trip to San Diego, second week of December, only been there once for a brief time. If we want to go sailing where should I look, to charter/rent a boat for half a day? Is there still an America's Cup AC class boat there that one can go out on? I am very experienced so shouldn't have an issue if charter or rental requires experience.

We are flying in Friday morning the 9th arrive late morning and will be leaving on Thursday the 15th. If it would work out to go out on your 38 that would be great.
