When I wrote my account I wanted to be a little more dramatic because it was going to a sailing magazine.
When I read Michael's account I thought they were similiar. Although, when I radioed the Coast Guard they notified Baywatch because of their territory. I also know how things work within the system. They wanted to dispatch Sea-Tow or something like that but mentioned about a 30-45 minute lag time, and I had to be at LAX at a certain time and would have never made it. I made sure they knew we were very close to rocks and we were.
Baywatch does not mess around they were there in a couple of minutes.
