rudder weight

my rudder and post have been off for the winter. my rudder appears to be in good shape. i'm trying to determine if my core is wet. my question is does anyone have a weight for the rudder and post of a 27' tiller steer?

Wet or Dry Rudder?

My Ericson 26 came with a weeping rudder.
One winter I drilled MANY holes to dry it out.
The marina store had a moisture meter that
detected almost no moisture left after the winter.
That is another approach but means drilling a hole!
