Can you tell me what are rubber rollers for on this Ericson 32 -1989?

Thats an easy one! You just back the boat into the ramp, flip it up on the transom wheels, put the tip of the mast in the bed of the pickup and haul her out.... RT ;)

My WAG is that perhaps they sometimes back into their slip and the bumpers/rollers are level to the wood on the side of the dock?????

Have no idea

but I like the dinghy idea. They might be spaced for a Livingston or inflatable dinghy, so one could be dragged up onto the stern for more stable towing.

Maybe they're supposed keep overly friendly pinnipeds from clambering over the stern?
