Roller furler for E23

Singlehanded most of the time. Looking to install jib furler on E23. Certain some are better than others, pros... cons? Makes , models? Thanks

Do you trailer-sail the E23? I'm not sure how easy it is to rig a furler every time you step the mast?

Anyway, I ended up going with what the sailmaker recommended. (i.e. what he sells) Selden Furlex. I haven't had any problems with it, except I had to re-drill the hole in the bow tang because they don't seem to make pins the same size that they did in 1970.

If you wait until the Portland boat show in January, most of the shops will offer "boat show discounts." I got mine from Dale Waagmeester, on Alberta in Portland.

My Harken furler has been problem-free despite being an older model. I think they have a good reputation.
If you are trailering alot, the CDI flexible furler is quite forgiving and has worked very well for a friend who trailers his boat.
